Two big hams, no I'm not talking about Easter hams. I am talking about my daughters. I wish I had their hammy personalities sometimes. Helena loves a stage and an audience. I see glimmers of confidence that I could only wish I had at her age or even now. Eden is following the beat of her own drum. She has been clowning around and making us laugh since she was four months old. She is the master of the funny face, the funny walk, and the funny dance.
The other day, the two of them decided to have a fashion show. Of course they did it in low light with a whole lotta movement (we were playing some music through the DVD player). I apologize for the blur, but I couldn't resist sharing some of these shots. You'll get the idea. ;-)
Eden wanted the coat, glasses and hat, hence the look.
In this get-up, Eden reminds me of Elton John in his younger days.
I don't know where Helena gets her poses or facial expressions. The child has been posing this way since she was 6 months old. When she was 3 and 4 years old, Helena would run around in circles, stop suddenly, strike a dramatic pose with arms spread wide and yell "Rainspace!" I still don't know what was up with that.
I wish my grandmother could see these goings-on. The kids always made her happy and provided many, deep belly-laughs for her.
Have a wonderful, wacky Wednesday everyone (Helena's words).
